The Vegetarian Travels - Spain pt. 3

Episode 3

#takemeto Seville, Spain

We started in the morning and took a tour around the city. We went to the plaza de España which was beautiful and enormous. We got there early in the morning and it was so peaceful to be in the plaza, taking pictures, and sitting and observing all the beautiful tile art. It was really cold that morning and the grass was covered in a beautiful frost.

We then went to the American plaza which was pretty but nothing compared to the Spanish plaza. There were so many birds there and you could give them a little food and have them perch on your arm. It was really funny because so many perched onto my dad! We got on the bus and then went to the cathedral where Christopher Columbus was buried. We were back into our trust bus and we're on our was to the most beautiful castle. It was jaw dropping. The architecture was a merge of Arabic and Spanish, both cultures meeting in such beautiful architecture. After we finished touring the castle we decided to spend a bit of time in the town it was in. We had coffee and walked through the streets. It was Christmas Eve and it was so much fun to stop by all the festive shops and have a loon around. Everything was so colourful and open.

We finally got to our hotel, changed, and we were off to the Flamingo! If you're in Spain, I highly recommend experience get this. It's such an amazing experience of their culture and they serve a delicious dinner with even better sangria. The performance wasn't like anything I've ever seen. The dresses were so colourful and they were dancing so fast with these intricate steps that looked so easy yet also complicated at the same time. Our group had so much fun experiencing the dance performance, talking to the locals, and feeling very happy and full. The performance ended around 11 and it was time to retire back to the hotel. To all who are planning a trip to Seville, I highly recommended it. I was able to find good vegetarian food and I experienced parts of the Spanish culture that I would have never experienced had I not gone.

I hope yall loved this installment, see y'all soon!

Peace and Blessings,

Srini
