Sweden Day 1

Hey guys! The past couple of days I took some time off from writing just to enjoy Norway with my family. Also, though those past few days were fun and full of activities I wasn’t sure if y’all wanted to see more scenery pictures. However, I did take pictures at the Viking Museum that I will share now because I think it’s worth seeing!!

I highly recommend checking out the Viking museum if you get a chance as it is truly breathtaking to see these ships in real life.

Ok, on to Sweden! We left Oslo at around 8 in the morning and we drove for about 6-7 hours l. It truthfully was not the best of rides, but I got a lot of MCAT studying done so I was happy about that! Once we landed in Sweden, we checked into the hotel and stopped at a Thai place to eat! That restaurant was SO good! It had been a while since we had a nice meal (not counting the hotel dinners and pizza from the night before). We ordered so much food and ate all of it 😂.

We then took our full tummies and started our walk to Gamla stan. It was a pretty long walk, around a 1 hr round trip but it was so cool to see new Stockholm slowly blend into old Stockholm. We found our way to the royal palace where I took way to many pictures because I go crazy for beautiful architecture and saw the changing of the guards. If you go to Stockholm, I suggest that you take one evening to just walk down there and get lost in the streets. Also there were so many food places and bars that looked scrumptious 😊 After our long walk, we retired back to our hotels since we have a busy day ahead.
