Sweden Day 2
And just like that, my trip came to an end. We spent our last day in Sweden doing many things and ending it with a great dinner at the hotel.
Our day started at the city hall. Sweden’s city hall was breathtaking and unique. I’ve never experienced a city hall like this and if you go to Sweden I highly recommend visiting it. The city hall is actually where they have the Nobel Prize dinners and you get to visit the gold room where they have the ball.
We then visited the Vasa ship. This was a HUGE war ship that had sunk a long time ago and it was recovered in the late 20th century. I have included pictures but they don’t do it justice. The enormity of this ship takes your breath away. In a time where highly specialized tools didn’t exist it is absolutely amazing that they were able to create something to this enormity. Though, they were off in measurements so the ship did sink within a short time.
Next, we went to the Swedish Royal Family’s palace number two. I love palaces and this was another one. However if you don’t have time to see it, i don’t think it’s the most necessary.
Our last stop was to the Icebar! I’m turning 21 soon and it was mainly for my birthday celebration. I do want to say don’t have high expectations because then you will be pleasantly surprised. It’s not ginormous but it is really cool (HAHA😂😂). Also the drink was really good to!
Then, our last night in Sweden came to an end. We had a delicious dinner and went straight to bed since we had to wake up at 2:45 AM to catch our flight.
I hope y’all liked my Scandinavian blog series! I’m heading home to start my MCAT studying so traveling was such a nice break.

Bag update: We got them back when we returned home. So all in all, we had a great trip and got to buy a whole new wardrobe of clothes that AirFrance had to pay for. LOL
