Norway Day 1
This morning we had an early wake up call and we went off to explore Stavanger in the morning. It’s the 4th largest city in Norway and a huge oil city (or was till the oil fiasco). Whilst we were taking a stroll through the town, it was just waking up. With workers and merchants getting ready for their days and bars getting their beer supply for the day through large pipes. The city looked like it was out of a children’s book I used to read when I was little. After a brisk 45 minute stroll, we were off on our way to Bergen.

Getting to Bergen was quite a track but worth it in the end! We travelled by water (in two fairies) and in a couple hours we arrived! Our first stop was to Norway’s most famous composer’s (Edvard Grieg) house. The house has been a museum since the 1930s and exploring it was like walking back in time.

We then went to get a panoramic view of the city!

Before dinner, we stopped by the old part of the city that has been there since the 1700s!

We then had an hour off where we rushed to the shops to find clothes because Air France hasn’t returned our luggage (WOOHOO 🙄).
Then, we drove off to visit a family farm and have dinner with them. This was such a cool experience and it was something we did when we went to Spain, and we really wanted to do it again. We first met Arold and he took us inside to his farm. Arold introduces us to all of his animals. It was such a charming farm and it was amazing to experience a Norwegian meal and its customs. In the end, they surprised us with Norwegian music, a dance, and we got to see their national dress! I truly recommend experiencing something extraordinary like this in any place you visit because you get to truly experience the culture.

After that, we went home and went to sleep!
