Hi guys! So I don't usually wear a lot of makeup. On most days I only wear a bit of Mascara and some concealer. That being said, over the past year I have accumulated more makeup than I should have (I mean I think I have 10 different lip products of the same colour SMH). However, I was organizing my makeup collection today and I trimmed my makeup bag down to some essential products that I use most often and I thought I would share them with you!

This foundation is amazing. I have combination skin and this foundation goes on oil free and does not leave my skin feeling cakey. The foundation has a light but build-able coverage, which I find to be the best for my skin since I don't like full-coverage foundations. It melts into your skin and you feel like you aren't wearing make-up. Personally I think this foundation is great for make-up newbies (like myself) who aren't comfortable wearing a ton of make-up just yet. A big plus for this foundation is it's wide colour spectrum. Personally, I have light brown skin with gold and olive undertones, which makes finding foundations extremely difficult. However this foundation has 30 different shades and ranges from very fair to deep. Let me know if you try it out!

I have been using this concealer since my eighth grade dance (years ago) and it has never failed me yet. I find that the concealer is super blend-able and covers dark circles quite well. As I stated above I don't wear makeup on a day to day basis, but during this past semester it was my life saver for covering up dark circles from all night study sessions. It's super affordable and available at most drug stores. The only complain I have is that they don't have a lot of shades.

This is by far the best powder I have ever tried. I love mineral makeup because I find it to be less harsh on my skin and this powder is just that. It doesn't leave me feeling cakey and is lightweight. I've been using this for years and I love it!

As a new comer when it comes to eyeshadow, this palette is the perfect fit. The shadows are extremely pigmented, bendable, and work for any skin tone. The matte shades are great for an simple look and the shimmer shades can transform the look from day to night. The best part is that its small, affordable, and smells like chocolate!

This eyeliner is perfect for newbies as well. It's easy to use and glides on perfectly on the eye. Because it's a pencil it makes applying eyeliner even easier and more precise. I love to smoke out the eyeliner to make my makeup look a little more undone and natural.
When it comes to nude lipsticks I have 3 favourites that range in prices. My first favourtie is the Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Ravenswood. It's the perfect nude lipstick with high coverage and a creamy texture. My second favourite is the Kate Moss lasting finish lipstick in 104. It is a beautiful matte lipstick that doesn't feel drying at all. Lastly, my other favourite is the NYX soft matte cream in Cannes. The price point is great and it dries fast without feeling drying on the lips.
